This role is at head office based near Canary Wharf, the financial capital of London, with easy commute routes for those days that you wish to venture into the office where you can experience the energy and comradery.

About the Field Sales Business Development Manager role:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be selling a range of products & services within a Business-to- Business and face-to-face environment with the focus on winning new Clients.

In this role, which will involve you working in the field, within the “South” region which covers south of Coventry, West London and towards Reading. You will visit pre-booked appointments that you have self-generated to establish relationships and sales. When you are not attending new client meetings, you will enjoy working from our offices in Canary Wharf where you are tasked with developing new business opportunities by calling suitable prospects and generating potential leads via direct mail campaigns or events

Working to improve market position and achieve financial growth you will:

  • have long-term organisational strategic goals
  • be building key customer relationships
  • identify business opportunities
  • negotiate and close business deals
  • maintain deep understanding of current market conditions
  • raise the company profile by attending expositions, seminars, events and conferences
  • prepare reports and statistical data for presentations and management reports
  • meet and exceed revenue and budgetary targets
  • remain up to date with industry changes and competitors to design future campaigns, budgets and targets
  • manage and train junior sales and BD staff

About you:

With previous field-based sales experience where you have of developed and converted business opportunities by improving on existing relationships. You will have led multiple accounts, hitting and exceeding targets and as an excellent negotiator ability to persuade, influence and sell. Ideally you will have a related degree and industry experience, contacts and a proven track record of success.
