Welcome to a huge opportunity for you to develop your career as a Business Development Manager reporting directly to the Telesales Manager, where you will be working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.  

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to identify corporate clients to sell giant’s umbrella and accountancy services and cross-sell giant’s various service lines by networking, cold calling, email campaigns or other means of generating interest and plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. 

Working to improve market position and achieve financial growth you will outline long-term organisational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Salary very competitive £22,000 to £27,000 OTE £47,000

About you: 

You are curious, creative, energetic and enthusiastic, able to multi-task and often work independently in a client facing environment in a consultative manner with experience of forging and maintaining working partnerships with all stakeholders. 

Ideally you will have proven experience in: 

  • A cold call telephone-based environment with client facing experience
  • Developing and converting business opportunities
  • Identifying, evaluating and successfully obtaining new business
  • Targeting new business, predominantly through phone and email campaigns
  • Being a self-starter who is target-driven and motivated – who is comfortable in a target-oriented environment
