As a business development executive, you will work alongside our New Business Consultants to ensure enquiries are maximised from an existing agency portfolio by providing excellent customer service as well as generating new business opportunities for giant from new and existing accounts. The ideal route of this role will be to develop into a New Business Consultant within 2 years.

Your ultimate objective is to improve market position and achieve financial growth by building key customer relationships as well as identify new opportunities to introduce the new business teams.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Focus on working alongside the new business consultants to drive growth in your portfolio of clients by building strong customer relationships and brand reputation.
2. Deliver unrivalled customer service
3. Organising and conducting product training and industry updates to clients over the telephone 
4. You will plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
5. Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns, book customer meetings where applicable for the new business team.
6. Strategise to plan and implement daily/weekly plans and deliver accurate forecasts.
7. Work comfortably on own initiative and continuously achieve KPIs and targets with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Successfully generate cross-sell opportunity for giant product range where possible.

experience/competencies

Ideally, you will have a at least 2 years’ experience in business development, sales executive, recruitment consultant or a relevant role within a fast paced sales environment. You must understand and be able to demonstrate a sales cycle. 
You have great enthusiasm and attitude for the role, a high level of resilience and strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence.

• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Experience of using CRM
• Understanding and striving to achieve the giant people values is essential.

To help you progress in your career you will be set clear objectives and you will be expected to constantly give and receive feedback.
